It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Christopher George Carroll, of Dieppe NB, originally from Nowlanville NB, who’s death occurred Thursday September 23, 2021.

Chris was a valued employee of Irving Consumer Products (Dieppe) for over 15 years. During his time with the company, Chris became close friends with several of his co-workers. He was known as hard-working, dedicated, and loyal to those in his circle.
Chris enjoyed anything and everything he could do outside. He was happiest on the water in a canoe or a kayak and many miles were travelled on his snowmobile. Times spent at warming shacks and camps with his friends were some of Chris’s favorite places to be. Walking, hiking, and biking the trails near his home were activities he enjoyed in every season and on any given day. Chris could also be found tinkering in his garage, doing yard work, taking care of his lawn, or washing his truck. Going for drives with the windows down and the music up was how he loved to spend much of his free time.

Chris is survived by his parents, David and Rita (Shanahan) Carroll of Nowlanville NB, Brother Paul (Sherri), niece Alyssa, nephew Travis, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He will be missed forever by his devoted friend and lifetime love, Dawn Lynch who stood by his side through his illness and whose life was made better by loving, and being loved by Chris.

Chris’s life in Dieppe was enriched by an incredible group of friends, and while his circle was small, it was filled with only the best. Connie Stewart, Allan and Fay Getson, Darin and Patti Whitney, and Nicole Hachey were pillars in Chris’s life. They made a lifetime of memories and shared a million laughs.

Funeral mass to be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, in Nelson Miramichi, NB on Saturday October 2, 2021 at 11 am. Interment in the church cemetery to follow. At the request of Chris, there will be no visitation.

Please note: Masks, Social Distancing, Contact Tracing and Vaccination Proofs are mandatory. Please have Vaccination Proof ready upon arrival.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of Bell’s Funeral Home, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi, NB. E1V 1N9 Telephone: 622-3600
