The death of Iva Leota (Parks) Hamilton wife of the late Halsey Hamilton of Lyttleton, NB occurred on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 89. Born in Northwest Bridge, NB, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Minnie (Howe) Parks. Iva was a member of Lyttleton Pentecostal Church as well as a homemaker who enjoyed baking and making sure everyone was well feed.
Iva will be sadly missed by: daughter: Karen Dunnett (Douglas) of Bathurst, NB; sons: Robert “Bobby” (Irene) of Halcomb, NB; Peter (Robin) of Lyttleton, NB; grandchildren: Jason (Krista), Esther (Lane), Tyler (Stephanie), Tiffany (Dennis) and Travis (April); sisters: Treva Matchett of Ontario, Anita Gillis (Roy), Myrtle Dickson (Erwin) all of Napan, NB; Mae Mahar (Tom) of Ontario, Judy Murdock (Percy) of Chatham Head, NB; Carolyn Parks (Eric) of Miramichi, NB; brothers: Donald of Douglastown, NB; Ricky (Brenda) of Moncton, NB; sister-in-law: Marie Parks of Miramichi, NB as well as many nieces and nephews, she was also a great grandmother to: Tori, Brody and great grandchild due in February.
Besides her parents and husband, Iva is predeceased by: sisters: Betty Mutch (Murray), Evelyn Baisley (Norris) and Hazel MacDonald; brothers: Robert, Blair and Harold and sister-in-law: Irene Parks.
Visitation will be held from Lyttleton Pentecostal Church, Lyttleton on Sunday, September 5, 2021 from 1:30-2:30 PM followed by the funeral service at 3 PM with Pastor Vaden Sutherland officiating.

The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses of the Miramichi Hospital who cared for Iva as well as the Extra Mural who cared for Iva in her home.
