Doris Mary (Nowlan) Brown
1941 – 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of Doris Mary Brown announces her passing on May 30, 2021. She was born in Sunny Corner, NB, the daughter of the late Lorne and Ethel Nowlan (MacKay).

Doris spent her entire career in the Insurance Industry and was well known and respected within her many business and social circles. In retirement, Doris enjoyed photography and leaves behind many beautiful photos of family, friends, landscapes, birds and anything else worthy of her camera lens. She was also very active with church, social and volunteer work until her brief period of illness.

Doris leaves behind her beloved daughter, Nancy and grandson, Chris. Also her sister: Linda MacAllister (Ken) and brother: Laurie Nowlan, as well as, many nieces, nephews, cousins, countless friends and neighbors.

Doris was predeceased by her parents, Ethel and Lorne Nowlan of Sunny Corner; brothers: Edward, Bill and Ossie.

A funeral service will be held from St. Stephen’s United Church, Red Bank on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Geza Szemök. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Please note: Social distancing measures will be in effect and all attendees are required to wear a mask.
