It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Anne Isabel Mae Astle, of Losier Hall, formerly of Exmoor, NB. Anne passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Miramichi Regional Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Picton, Ontario she was the daughter of the late Hiram and Beatrice (Lloyd) Lindle. Anne was a member of St James Roman Catholic Church in Sevogle. As a member she regularly attended book club and bible study hosted by Father Dan Melanson. During this time, she made many lifelong friends whose love and friendship she carried with her. Anne suffered many health issues during her years but refused to give up the fight. Battling and beating cancer not once but twice. Her love of God, her family and her friends made the journey so much easier.
Anne is survived by one daughter: Kimberly Anne Astle of Sunny Corner, NB; three sons: Marlon Wesley Astle (Debbie) of Lyttleton, NB; Milton Wyatt Astle (Aileen) of Cambridge, ON; James Edward Astle of Exmoor, NB and one step son Wilson Curtis (Linda) of Alberta. One sister: Emmie Willmott; sister-in-law Jan Lindle both of Ontario and brother-in-law David Astle of Exmoor, NB.
Anne was very proud of her six grandchildren: Patricia Morrison, Geff Astle, Alicia (Mat) Thijssen, Ally (Rod) Michaud, Ashleigh Kenny and Marlie Astle and five great grandchildren: Shaugnessy, Nathan, Evelyn, Mila and Madi James as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents Anne is predeceased by her husbands 1st Marlon Astle and 2nd Gerald Curtis; brother: James Lindle, brother-in-law: Cleveland Astle, sisters-in-law: Ruby Dodsworth, Bonnie Sweeney and Virginia Gentle.
Due to Covid-19, there will be no visitation, a funeral will be held at a later date when family are permitted to enter the province.

Special Thank you to Dr. Edward, Dr. Manerkar, and Dr Losier for giving us so many extra years with our Mom. Your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten. We would also like to thank the staff at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, Losier Hall and Kellys Special Care Home for the love and care they provided over the years.
