It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of William “Billy” Howard Allen Kennedy husband of Ann (Dickson) Kennedy of Miramichi, NB, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at the age of 62. Born in Blackville, NB, he was the son of the late Eldon and Grace (Walls) Kennedy. Billy was a Captain of the Miramichi Fire Department and served as a firefighter since his beginning in 1979 with the Blackville Fire Department. He was also a licensed Auto Mechanic and enjoyed tinkering in his garage.
Besides his wife: Ann, Billy is survived by: one daughter: Jamie Kennedy of Miramichi, NB; one sister: Deanna Baldwin (Laurie) of Douglasfield, NB; one brother: Carl (Shirley) of Gray Rapids, NB; sister-in-law: Effie Kennedy of Blackville, NB; nieces and nephews: Tanya Sanford, Tara Kennedy, Judy Kennedy, Wendy Baldwin, Steve Baldwin and several great nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Billy is also predeceased by: one brother: Fred Kennedy.
The family will receive visitors at Bell’s Funeral Home on Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 3-7 PM. A private funeral service will be celebrated from the Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel with Rev. Alice Szemök officiating.
