Edith Beatrice Allison
1937 – 2020

Edith Beatrice Allison of Losier Hall and formerly of Sunny Corner, wife of the late Sterling Allison passed away at Losier Hall on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at the age of 83. Born in Sunny Corner, NB, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Leona (Tozer) Matchett.

Edith was retired from UPM-Kyemmene as an accounting clerk.

Edith is survived by sons: Scott of Sunny Corner, NB and Rusty (Cheryl) Miramichi, NB; sisters: Inez Langille (Ron), Eunice Melnychuk, and Vivian Carde (Doug); brothers: Wendell Matchett (Mary) and Jerry Matchett (Sharon) all of Ontario; son in law: Danny McAllister; grandsons: Sterling, Danny and Scottie; great grandsons: Jacob, Charlie and Austin and great granddaughter: Presley, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband: Sterling and parents: Harry and Leona, Edith is predeceased by daughter: Barbara McAllister; grandson: Aiden; sisters: Joyce and Eileen; brothers: Blair, James, George and Wesley.

Please note there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Due to Covid – 19 restrictions a private funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Meadows Funeral Home Chapel, Sunny Corner, NB with Pastor Tom Ettinger. Interment will follow in St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Cemetery, Boom Road, NB.
