Lorne Robersion Harris
1944 – 2020

The death of Mr. Lorne Robersion Harris of Cassilis, NB, occurred on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 75. Born in Cassilis, NB, he was the son of the late Emmerson and Marjorie (Street) Harris. Lorne was a Labourer and attended St. Stephen’s United Church, Red Bank.

Lorne is survived by: two sisters: Diane Cortes (Don Butler) of Nelson, NB; Rosalee Kinsella (Gary) of Newcastle, NB; five brothers: Terry of Millerton, NB; Jim of Beaverbrook, NB; Kenny (Shirley) of Oromocto, NB; Edward and Eldon of Cassilis, NB; many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Lorne is predeceased by: infant sister: Violet; sister: Bessie Davidson (Merlyn); brother: Garfield (Marie) and brother-in-law: George Cortes.

The family will receive visitors at Meadows Funeral Home on Saturday, October 17, 2020 from 11 AM- 1 PM followed by a funeral service at St. Stephen’s United Church, Red Bank at 3 PM with Rev. Geza Szemök officiating. Please Note: Due to Covid-19, community face masks and the following of social distancing guidelines will be adhered to for the Visitation and Funeral Service. Also seating capacity will be limited for the Funeral Service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
