The death of Jane Elizabeth (Whitney) Nilsen of Miramichi, NB, occurred on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 68. Born in Toronto, ON, she was the only child of Harold and Patricia (McLean) Whitney. Jane loved listening to music, dancing and drawing. She was a social butterfly who loved her cats as well as all other animals.
Jane is survived by: two daughters: Paula Simpson (Kevin) of Brooklyn, ON; Laura Blackmore (Jamie) of Miramichi, NB; one granddaughter: Sierra.
Besides her parents, Jane is predeceased by her son: Danny Nilsen and special friend Bill Hartenstein.
At the request of the family there will be no visitation or funeral service at this time.
