Weldon Henry Allison
1936-2020


Weldon Henry Allison, husband of Phyllis (Matheson) Allison of Trout Brook, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Thursday, March 5th, 2020 at the age of 83.
Born in Trout Brook, NB, Weldon was the son of the late S. Roy and Dorothy (Dunnett) Allison. Weldon was a retired Shipping Supervisor at Heath Steele Mines and was the owner of Allison Overhead Doors Manufacturing Ltd. Weldon was a member of the Wesley United Church and also a member of the Highland Society of NB at Miramichi.
Besides his wife Phyllis, Weldon is survived by two daughters: Beverly Ross of Miramichi, NB and Edwina Matchett (Cameron) of Exmoor, NB; two sons: Clayton Allison (Rolanda Matchett) of John Brook Rd., NB and Scott Allison (Judy Clark) of Miramichi, NB; one sister: Kathleen Shaddick of Derby, NB; brothers: Raymond Allison of Miramichi and David Allison of Toronto, ON; brother in law: Dick Sawyer of Calais, ME; Grandchildren: Aaron, Kelsey, Chris, Julie, Travis, Kortney, Jordan, Cassie, Joey, Emilie, Jessica, Jenna and Taylor; great grandchildren: Cambrie, Casen, Dax and Everly as well as several nieces and nephews.
Weldon is predeceased by sisters: Elsie Allison, Mae Stewart, Betty Ann Connors, Dorothy (Dolly) Sawyer; brothers: John R. and Roy (Sonny); brother in law: Arnold Shaddick as well as sister in law: Anna Allison.
Visitation will be held at Bell’s Funeral Home, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi, on Monday, March 9th from noon until 1 PM, with the Funeral Service to follow at 2 PM at the Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi with Reverend Geza Szemök officiating.
Burial will take place at Wesley United Church Cemetery at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, in Weldon’s memory, donations may be made to the Wesley United Church Cemetery Fund.
