Ann Elizabeth Doucette of Howards, NB, wife of Euclide Doucette, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Wednesday, January 01, 2020 at the age of 66. She was the daughter of the late Stanley and Ruby (Brophy) Furlong.

Ann was an adherent parishioner at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish and her greatest passion was her family. She was always cheerful, positive and willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. She was a stay at home Mom and worked seasonally as a cook. She was an avid bingo player and had a love of animals. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren Madison, Tamarra, Leah, and Abby. She was always interested in her nieces and nephews and the happenings in their lives.

Ann is survived by her husband, Euclide; two sons: Jason (Julie) of Moncton, NB and Adam (Jillian) of Howards, NB; , four grandchildren Madison, Tamarra, Leah, and Abby, one sister: Noreen Lobban (David) of Loggieville, NB; seven brothers: John (Florine) of Howards NB; Jimmy of Chatham, NB, Billy (Theresa) of Howards, NB, Louis (Joy) of Doaktown, NB, Richard of Doaktown, NB, Clyde of Newcastle, NB, and Steven (Mariette) of Cassilis, NB.; and sister-in-law June Furlong.

Besides her parents, Ann was predeceased by two brothers: Wallace and Wayne Furlong and sister-in-law Lorenda Furlong.

Visitation will take place at the Father A.A. McKinnon Memorial Hall, on Friday, January 3rd from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Raphael’s Roman Catholic Church, Blackville, NB on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 11am with Father Dan Bastarache officiating. Burial will be in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Cemetery, Howards, NB later in the spring.
