Kathleen “Kay” Agnes Sheasgreen wife of the late Joseph Sheasgreen of Sunny Corner, NB, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at the age of 97.

Born in Halcomb, NB. Kay was the daughter of the late John and Louise (Matchett) Foran.

Kay was a Homemaker. She was a devoted Roman Catholic who attended Saint Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Red Bank with over 55 years as a member of the Catholic Women’s League.

She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who cherished her Sunday gatherings with her family.

Kay is survived by three daughters: Ann Maltby (Ernie) of Newcastle, NB, Judy Maltby (Doug) of Riverview, NB, and Kathy Sheasgreen of Cassilis, NB; two sons: Mike (Kathy) of Newcastle, NB and Joe Jr. (Libby) of Boom Road, NB; eight grandchildren: Melanie, Mike, Kirk, James, Bryan, Greg, Hilary, and Cailin; eighteen great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

Kay was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Besides her parents and husband Joe, Kay is predeceased by two sisters: Bernetta Goodwin and Mary Ibberson; three brothers: Dan, Winston, and Bev and one infant grandson.

Kay is resting at Meadows Funeral Home, 150 Northwest Road, Sunny Corner with visitation on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 11:00 AM from Saint Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church with Father Dan Melanson officiating.

Burial will be in Saint Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, in Kay’s memory donations may be made to Saint Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church.
