Leland A. Stewart
1926 – 2019

Pearl Stewart (nee McAllister) announces the peaceful passing of her loving partner and husband of 71 years on July 8, 2019. Born in Lyttleton, NB to the late Theodore and Clara (Tozer) Stewart.
Leland was retired from American Can Ltd. Hamilton, ON in 1981.
Leland will be sadly missed by many but especially by his two sons: Mervin of Kamloops, BC and Roger (Carol Campbell) of Ancaster, ON; three daughters: Lynn Otterman (Larry) of McKellar, ON, Bonnie Tomilson (Darrell) of Mexico and Roxanne Moulden (Dave), Ancaster, ON.
Grandchildren: Jarrod Otterman (Lori), Derrick Otterman (Trina), Nathan Otterman (Vicki), Dianna Moulden (Matthew Peressini), Katie Walker (Michael), James Moulden, Brett Stewart (Casey), Carla Stewart (Dan Hansen), Blair Stewart, Robert Stewart (Chelsea), Margo Stewart (Cody Cartwright).
Great grandchildren: Arya, Ashton, Keegan, Jameson, MacKenzie, Reese, Julian, Hayden, Cameron, Tyler, Logan, Aubrey, Danica, Jak, Dahlia and Keaton
Brother: Theodore (Helen) of Matthew Settlement, NB and Sister: Emiline Bryenton (Robert) Cassilis, NB.
Leland is predeceased by infant son Garfield and brothers Merlin, Delbert, Merton and Paul.
Leland is resting at Meadows Funeral Home, 150 Northwest Road, Sunny Corner on Friday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 PM. Funeral Service will be held from Meadows Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Geza Szemök officiating. Interment will be in St. Stephen’s United Church Cemetery, Red Bank.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St. Stephen’s United Church General Fund or NB Extramural Program. Messages of condolence may be made on our website www.bellsmeadows.com
