James William (Billy) Robinson
1929-2019

James William (Billy) Robinson, husband of Annie (Brideau) Robinson of Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Sunday, June 9th, 2019 at the age of 89.

Born in Chatham, NB, Billy was the son of the late Willie and Alma (Pitre) Robinson.

Billy worked at Burchill’s Plywood Mill for 52 years.

Billy is survived by one daughter: Rose Marie Robinson (Hubert Mazerolle); one son: James Larry Robinson; one sister: Jean Brideau, all of Miramichi, NB; grandchildren: Tracy Lynn and Michael William Lloyd; great grandchildren: Kaidence and Parker, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Willie and Alma (Pitre) Robinson, Billy is predeceased by three brothers: Jimmy, Alfred and Johnny as well as three sisters: Mable, Margaret and Ida.

Visitation will be held at Bell’s Funeral Home, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi, NB, on Tuesday, June 11th, 2019, from 6-9 PM.


Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Saint Samuel’s Roman Catholic Church, Douglastown, NB, on Wednesday, June 12th, 2019 at 2 PM with Father Antonio Reyes officiating.

Burial will follow in Saint Samuel’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, in Billy’s memory, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the N.B. Heart and Stroke Foundation.
