Margaret Dedam
1940-2019

Margaret Dedam, wife of the late Michael Augustine of Esgenoôpetitj, NB, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Tuesday, April 30th, 2019 at the age of 79.

Born in Burnt Church, NB, Margaret was the daughter of the late William J. and Mary (Condo) Dedam.

Margaret is survived by two daughters: Mary Lou Larry (Daniel Bartibogue) of Esgenoôpetitj, NB and Darlene Joe (Richard) of Massachusetts, USA; three sons: Roger Lee Dedam (Karen Somerville) of Tabusintac, NB, Jesse Joe (Bobbi Jo Nash) of Fredericton, NB and Troy Larry of Esgenoôpetitj, NB as well as several nieces and nephews, who were all her grandchildren.

Besides her parents: William J. and Mary (Condo) Dedam and husband: Michael Augustine, Margaret is predeceased by five sisters: Mary Ann Bonnell, Helen Vicaire, Mary Stella Simon, Rita Dedam and Mary Kathleen Dedam and one brother: Michael Timothy Bonnell.

Visitation will be held at Bell’s Funeral Home, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi, NB, on Thursday, May 2nd, 2019 from 7-9 PM and again on Friday, May 3rd, 2019, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Saint Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, Esgenoôpetitj on Saturday, May 4th at 11 AM with Father Anthony Dass Papu officiating.

As expressions of sympathy, in Margaret’s memory, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a memorial of the donor’s choice.
