The death of Andrew “Andy” Noel Dedam husband of Renalda (Denny) Dedam of Esgenoôpetitj, NB, occurred at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Monday, December 10, 2018 at the age of 61.

Born in Chatham, NB, Andy was the son of the late Noel A. and Marion (Somerville) Dedam.

Andy worked in salmon assessment and security.

Andy is survived by his wife: Renalda; two daughters: April and Judy Augustine; stepchildren: Greg, Kevin, Beverly, Veronica and Charlene Denny, three sisters: Clara Marcheterre (Charles), Irene Dedam (Wilbur), Cerena Richards (Robert R.); three brothers: Everett Dedam (Diane Savoie), Chester Dedam and Norman Dedam (Joyce Augustine); three grandchildren: Emma, Chloe and Jaret; goddaughter: Sheena Beniot; sister-in-law: Della Dedam and brother-in-law; Garry Mitchell all of Esgenoôpetitj, NB and several nieces and nephews.

Andy is predeceased by three sisters: Harriett and Lita Dedam, Madeleine Mitchell; five brothers: Howard, William, Patrick, Ernest Dedam and Sam Hope and one sister-in-law: Carol Dedam.

Visitation will be held at 909 Micmac Road, Esgenoôpetitj, NB, after 6 PM on Tuesday and again on Wednesday.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Saint Ann's Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 2 PM with Father Anthony Papu officiating.

In Andy’s memory a donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the donor’s choice.
