The death of Daniel Austin “Danny” Hamilton husband of Joyce (Newman) Hamilton of Miramichi and formerly of Halcomb, NB, occurred at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at the age of 75. Born in Lyttleton, NB, Danny was the son of the late Ernest and Susan (Travis) Hamilton.

Danny retired from Repap Pulp & Paper as a truck driver.

Besides his wife Joyce, Danny is survived by one daughter: Brenda Allison (Cyril) of Moncton, NB and three sons: Paul (Cathy) of Douglasfield, NB, Keith (Dawn) of Courtwright, On and Kenneth (Andrea) of Miramichi, NB; one sister: Margaret Williams (John) of Moncton, NB; three brothers: John (Masie) of Halcomb, NB, Benny (Ruby) of Upper Derby, NB and David (Rena) of Bathe, ON; eight grandchildren: Luke, Evan, Hannah, Hillary, Ernie, Daniel, Katelynn and Laura; one great grandson: Rowen and several nieces and nephews.

Danny is predeceased by on son: Kevin and two brothers: Halsey and Ralph.

Visitation will be held at Bell’s Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9. Funeral Service will be held from the Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel on Monday, July2, 2012
at 11AM with Rev. Ross Wiseman officiating. Burial will follow in the Derby United Church Cemetery, Millerton, NB.
